I am currently reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski. It is one of Oprah's Book Club books. I kind of wonder how much time Oprah really has on her hands for literature... at any rate, it is so far, a very good story.

So far, I like that this book deals with a boy who signs. It's a glimpse into a different culture, one I'm familiar with. Also, I think the setting is capturing. I am excited to get some more recreational reading done. I've decided to take the next semester off school. I figure, if I am transferring in August (or possibly online this summer), I shouldn't waste more time and money taking classes that may possibly not transfer. This is going to give me the oppurtunity to ready more, hopefully. I don't have any resolutions per say, but I do pan to try and read more for my own enjoyment in the future.
After I finish this book, I'm moving onto a classic, The Alchemist.
